Most people simply assume you must snore all night. But if you actually take the time to notice you’ll find out that that isn’t true at all.
You don’t snore all night – that’d probably drive your significant other crazy! You usually only snore for a few hours of your normal 6-9 hour period.
The reason you don’t snore all the time is because you are always on the move while you sleep. Even if you don’t think you are you most likely are moving at least once an hour while you sleep.
Whether it’s just titling your head or whether your moving your body completely you are always moving.
Remember that you snore usually because your tounge falls back and vibrates loudly while you breath in and out.
So moving your head will make your tongue fall from where it was very slightly. It will eventually fall back into place and you’ll start to snore again…
So how can you try and stop snoring all together?
Well it’s not too hard.
All you need to do is keep your mouth closed.
Now there’s a few different ways you can go about doing that.
You could, of course, try and duck tape your mouth closed. Although that could be funny, and i’ve seen it done before, that may not be something you’ll want to do for many nights in a row. (Obviously.)
What I think you should probably do is get a jaw supporter. Something that will keep your jaw shut without the sticky mess left behind. Now how you do this can be in a variety of different ways.
Some jaw supporters won’t work as well as others and some haven’t even really been tested to their fullest extent. What I would suggest doing is finding out that has been tested by the average Joe like you and me and that has been proven to work.
There’s a link to the right for a real good one.
